[Biography]

MODERN CUBISM is the gathering of Jean-Marc MELOT (M3D, CSYGNUS) and Jean-Luc DE MEYER (FRONT 242) around a common project: the transposition of poetry into music.

The album dedicated to Charles BAUDELAIRE is the first piece of a trilogy and contains tracks from "Les Fleurs du Mal".

Singing poetry on electronic music, only a few did dare it so far; it was an attractive challenge. To combine sounds and electronic melody, lyrical singing and texts brings an innovating dimension to contemporary electronic music, sometimes very bitter, very dark but in complete symbiosis with their artistic view.
